Engine 51

This is the Ward LaFrance used as Engine 51 in the television show Emergency!

After the show went off the air this engine was stored at Universal Studios until the 1990s. Eventually it made its way to Yosemite National Park where it served for more than 20 years as Engine 7 providing fire protection in Yosemite Valley. In 2008 it was retired and sent to the Los Angeles County Fire Museum were it was restored as Engine 51.
